Not expensive, clean and nice (newly renovated) room just in the city center nearby Termini station. I say "good choise for travelers visiting Roma for few days".

Le foto web e la descrizione non corrispondono assolutamente con la realtà. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno mandato in un'altra struttura ricettiva annessa e ci hanno sistemato in una camera piccolissima per tre persone e assolutamente antiquata! Almeno era abbastanza pulita.. i dintorni non sono affatto raccomandabili e la struttura non è nemmeno poi così vicina alla stazione (15 minuti a piedi).. Diciamo che non c'è assolutamente rapporto qualità-prezzo...insomma menomale che siamo rimasti solo una notte!

Great price, but the rooms are on a noisy street. In addition, the rooms and the reception desk are not accessible from the same front door. The rooms are small but that is to be expected from Roma at this price, not like we were spending much time in our room anyway.

Very clean and well equipped for a hotel in this price range (TV, hairdryer, air con). Generally very quiet in the buildings and I suspect most rooms are quiet but for those along the side street in the second building. If you're a light sleeper, ask not to be located here. Desk staff speak English. Location is several blocks from Termini station in a safer-feeling, more residential area. Several very pleasant, reasonably priced restaurants and bars on the same road. Metro Repubblica is a few blocks away. I would recommend this hotel to budget conscious travellers of any ages.

Clean, somewhere to sleep, but not somewhere for more than a few nights stay. But it is close enough to the bus station and within a 25 minuite walk of the colosseum.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer wie erwartet einfach aber sauber, das Frühstück in der Bar sehr gut (auch dort wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient) und die direkt unter dem Hotelzimmer gelegene Bäckerei grandios :-)) Wir haben alles bekommen, was wir erwarteten

L'hotel è in una buona posizione vicino alla stazione Termini, alla metropolitana e anche il centro è raggiungibile a piedi in poco tempo, il personale è molto cordiale e le camere pulite. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

il bagno e' la cosa che proprio non mi e' piaciuta, e il relativo servizio anche: -solo 2 asciugamani per 2 persone (di solito sono 2 a testa!) -tappetino di gomma (non pulitissimo, e usato chissa' quante volte...), penso che sia meglio in spugna, in qaunto e' meno problemtico il relativo lavaggio...ecc...

L'hotel è carino ed è posizionato in un luogo molto comodo e poco distante dalla stazione centrale che si può raggiungere facilmente a piedi. Le camere sono pulite e i letti sono comodi..qualche rumore lo senti quando gli altri inquilini entrano nelle loro camere ma niente di grave..Il mio giudizio è molto buono soprattutto valutando il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

La relación precio/calidad es malísima. No cambian a diario toallas y sábanas, ni reponen el jabón (no facilitan ni gel, ni champú); la limpieza de la habitación es insuficiente. El hotel tiene habitaciones en otros edificios, sin recepción, por lo que para cualquier necesidad hay que salir a la calle... El desayuno, en una cafetería próxima, es muy escaso y el servicio, deficiente. Lo único bueno del Papavero es la situación (cerca de la estación Termini, principal punto de comunicaciones de la ciudad). No es un hotel, sino una pensión.

l'ho prenotato x risparmiare e non mi aspettavo granchè.invece è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa!le camere erano pulite e carinissime,addirittura con l'angolo cottura. sicuramente ci ritornerò

zimmer und bad waren sehr ordentlich, leider war kein fön vorhanden und bewohner der zimmer neben an waren sehr laut (wohnung in der nebenstraße ist sehr hellhörig!) frühstück beinhaltet nur ein kleines stück kuchen und einen cafe.

accogliente, pulito, economico, ricezione molto professionale. molto vicino alla stazione termini e a piazza repubblica, i punti piu' interessanti della citta' sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi o con i mezzi pubblici. ottimi ristoranti / trattorie nelle vicinanze. sicuramente raccomandato! Cosy, cheap and clean. very professional staff. very close to Termini station and Piazza Repubblica. All the amenities and great restaurants are nearby. definitely raccomanded! Igor

For a 1-star place it was perfect. I didnt expect more (although i must confess i used it to sleep only anyway). The place was clean and quiet. The breakfast in a cafe across the street was enough for me (cornetto + coffee). You can even use 15mins of internet for free in an internet cafe down the street (a bit to walk though). Everything i wanted to see in rome i could reach by foot from there. Lots of restaurants around the neighborhood too, unfortunately not so much "nightlife". The people of the reception were very nice and willing to listen to my crappy italian always when i had a question. They speak very good english though!! In any case i can suggest the place for a anyone who does not need luxury and prefers to save money.

Siamo rimasti in 2 per 2 notti. In camera c'erano solo due asciugamani e 2 mini saponettine la prima notte. La doccia era costituita da una pigna fissa non regolabile per cui non era possibile, per esempio, lavare il corpo senza i capelli. Il secondo giorno non sono stati sostituiti entrambi gli asciugamani ma uno solo, in pratica c'era un solo asciugamano per 2 persone; non state aggiunte saponettine, per cui il secondo giorno eravamo senza sapone e con un solo asciugamano. Per la colazione siamo stati dirottati ad un bar vicino: un solo pezzo di dolce ed una sola bevanda, per esempio o succo d'arancia o caffè. Giudizio assolutamente negativo.

Il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto buono se si considera anche la disposizione dell'albergo... a pochi passi da tutti i servizi sia a piedi e molto servito con bus e metro. Personale molto cordiale e gentile pronto sempre a dare informazioni su tutto. Locali puliti comodi e molto gradevoli. L'unico 8 che posso dare all'albergo è alla doccia in quanto non usciva con getto ampio. Sicuramente tornerò in questo albergo.
